Questions & Answers
Everything guests usually ask before stepping aboard. Something else on your mind? Our charter specialists are one message away.
- How many guests can Crown of the Columbia carry?
- She comfortably hosts private parties of up to 12 guests for day cruises. For overnight itineraries, her two double cabins sleep four. Tell us your party size and we'll confirm the best arrangement.
- Where do trips depart from?
- Our home berth is RiverPlace Marina on the Willamette River in downtown Portland. Depending on your itinerary, we can also arrange pickup at other marinas along the Willamette and Columbia.
- How does booking work?
- We don't do instant checkout. Send us a quote request with your dates, group size, and the trip you have in mind, and a real charter specialist will follow up by phone or email within 24 hours to tailor the itinerary and pricing.
- What happens if the weather turns?
- The Willamette and Columbia are sheltered river cruising, and the Delphia 12's enclosed salon keeps everyone comfortable in any season. If conditions are genuinely unsafe, we'll work with you to reschedule at no penalty.
- Is the yacht safe and certified?
- Yes. Crown of the Columbia is operated to USCG standards with a fully safety-trained crew, comprehensive liability coverage, and client funds held in a protected escrow account until your charter is complete.
- How far in advance should we book?
- Summer weekends on the river book out early, so we suggest four to six weeks ahead for peak season. That said, always ask - we can often accommodate shorter notice, especially midweek.
